In 2014 the company Kalle GmbH released a new kind of high-permeable plastic casing Nalo Ferm.
Due to the efforts of our skilled team, the product has been presented to and tested by practically each manufacturer of dry sausages in Russia; as a result, many of the manufacturers have confirmed the application of Nalo Ferm for the serial sausages production.
Taking into account the successful results and the need of the Russian market in the reducing of the manufacturing costs, we decided to present NaloFerm casing for production of semi-smoked sausages.

Based on internal tests we concluded the need to develop a new kind of Nalo Ferm casing, applicable for semi-smoked sausages.
We have developed a special kind of Nalo Ferm, the main difference of which is a matt surface and special colors, enhancing the visualization of the product.

Using of these kinds of casings allows to get semi-smoked sausages with the identical appearance to traditional semi-smoked sausages in fibrous casings.
The advantages of Nalo Ferm casing over the fibrous:
- cheaper in price
- less losses during thermal treatment and storage
- no moisture separation in the packaging
- the sausage remains dry and does not have a white mould during the shelf storage
- traditional appearance
